I
am probably one of the slight few who have never walked the Vegas strip. I've
never dined in their famous restaurants, tossed dice in their big-time casinos,
or hung out with buddies in a Vegas night club. Please tell me I'm not alone
here. However, I am making plans to take a road trip to Sin City. As soon as my
wife is up for the trip, we're Nevada bound. At this point I've heard so many
Las Vegas adventure stories that I'm just at the point of annoyance. I've got to
get down to this city of lights and see what's up.
One of the coolest depictions of Las Vegas can be found in a trendy film. No, it
wasn't "Leaving Las Vegas" with Nicholas Cage. That was clearly one of the worst
and most depression impressions of Vegas I've ever come in contact with. I'm
talking about an adventurous film entitled "Go." If you haven't seen this one, I
highly recommend it. It's outstanding! It's broken up into three different
stories taking place at the same time. You get to see how each one connects and
unfolds separately. The best has to be when four guys head down to Vegas for the
weekend. You know they're bound to hit up a Vegas night club, get a lap dance
and get into all sorts of mischief. But, you'll never guess what's coming next.
Anyway, movies aside, I've heard first-hand that the Vegas night club scene is
the BOMB. A buddy I used to work with was born and raised in Las Vegas. He even
went to college there. So you know he's seen it all. From the way he spoke, he
and his college crew hit up every Vegas night club on a regular basis. I'd love
to tell a few of the stories, but they're all X-rated.
It's a blast at the right age. So if you're planning a trip to Las Vegas during
the college years, this is perfect for the Vegas night club scene. If you
haven't already noticed, that's what night clubs usually thrive off of. They get
college students galore, partying on summer and spring break getaways. But, this
certainly doesn't mean that you can't indulge in the Vegas night club
attractions as well if you're done with the University years. As they say, come
one come all. Anything is accepted in Vegas.
